BJV Studio is the work of Barbara Vollmer.

Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by gluing coloured paper cutouts onto it, then layering on varnish or lacquer until the surface is smooth and the seams disappear. The name comes from the French découper — “to cut out” — so naming the studio “The Art of Gluing” is a small joke at the craft’s expense.

Every piece is made by hand, one at a time.
